Brian Shapiro – Chief Executive Officer
Prior to founding Specialized Performance Advisory Group, LLC, Mr. Shapiro was a Senior Manager in the Fixed Income, Currency & Commodity Division at Canada's largest investment bank. Additionally, he was Senior Managing Director and registered investment advisor for a boutique broker-dealer where he managed separate accounts. He was also instrumental in building the FTN Financial East Coast operation. Mr. Shapiro began his career as a Certified Public Accountant at KPMG. Mr. Shapiro graduated from New York University with a degree in accounting and received his Juris Doctorate from Fordham Law School. He was a Certified Public Accountant and has held FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 licenses.
